8(a) Annual Report Service

The 8(a) Annual Report Service is for 8(a) certified companies to prevent them from being prematurely terminated from the 8(a) program, prior to the expiration of their 9-year program term.

IST will prepare on your behalf your Annual Report required by the SBA to testify to your continued compliance with the 8(a) eligibility requirements within the prescribed time frames. The Annual Report is online with SBA and IST will review in detail and edit the prescribed data fields to ensure the report meets SBA’s regulations.

The SBA’s Annual Report service addresses the issue of continued program eligibility. The annual review is an analysis of the firm’s business plan and progress in the program, including a determination of whether the firm is achieving its competitive business mix and set goals.

Remember the terms of the participation agreement you agreed to, and signed, shortly after receiving the “good news” about being 8(a) certified? Many 8(a) certified firms have been faced with an early exit from the 8(a) program over the last few years simply because they failed to live up to the terms of their Participation Agreement.
