The 8(a) BD Social Disadvantage Narrative Service is designed for clients whose ability to compete in the free enterprise system has been impaired due to diminished capital and credit opportunities as compared to others in the same or similar line of business who are not socially disadvantaged.
IST will prepare the Social Narrative and provide evidence to the SBA that you and your business have been subjected to Social Disadvantage.
Service Features:
The following service features are included in our 8(a) BD Social Disadvantage Narrative Service:
- IST will conduct a formal interview to discuss in detail the applicant’s incidents that have led to their Social Disadvantage.
- IST will examine the Information Package received from the client and insure that all required conditions have been met.
- IST will prepare the completed Social Disadvantage Narrative in its final draft ensuring that it is totally comprehensive and in compliance with SBA regulations.
- IST will transmit the prepared 8(a) Social Disadvantage Narrative via email to the client.
The Social Narrative is needed only for those applicants that do not meet the SBA’s Designated Presumptive Groups.
